2. No more snoozing
Sleep experts say that undisturbed shut-eye is the best of it’s kind. When you wake up to snooze your alarm, you’re not going to get 10 more minutes of quality sleep. Quality being the operative word. If you’re alarm screen looks like this, you’re only playing yourself.
Be honest with yourself about what time you have to wake up, because six hours of undisturbed sleep is better than eight hours of sleep that feels like four hours of sleep.
3. Do something that puts you in a good mood
It takes around 15 minutes to escape the inertia of sleep-a state accompanied by grogginess, irritation and disassociation. Listening to music does the trick for many, having a wake-up playlist can help you be more wakeful and maybe even cheerful. Brew yourself some tea or coffee while you think about what you have to do.
4. Fuel up
With nothing more than a banana or apple if you’re working out within 45 minutes of eating. Both help with energy and suffice till post workout. This would also be a good time to make your pre-workout mix for that extra push.
5. Stay prepared
The more seamless your morning is, the more inclined you will be to make it routinal. Whether it’s keeping your gym bag ready or your fruit cut the night before keeps your morning hassle free.
