3 Detox Drinks to Kickstart Your Day

One of the most frequent questions we get (especially on Monday) is how to detox from a weekend, in the most simple and effective way. We promote good health and wellness all year round, but we all know some Mondays can be harder than others. A sluggish metabolism can affect your mind, body and weight loss goals. So, we rounded up a list of our favorite beverages to give us a little of a boost- they’re delicious, healthy and will fix your day in no time.

1. Green Tea x Yogurt Smoothie
We couldn’t start off this list with anything than the holy trinity of detoxification- green tea, probiotics and fiber. This delicious drink will keep you full till lunch and have your gut feeling happy and healthy.


  • 1/2 cup strong brewed green tea
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup banana
  • 1/2 cup berries or any other fruit of your choice

Combine in the same order, blend and let your detox commence.

2. Beet your blues smoothie

Love them or hate them, you cannot ignore the benefits of beetroot. The beautiful color smoothie makes you feel good inside-out.


  • 1 small sized beet
  • 1/2 cup of strawberries (any fruit can be a substitute here)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup kiwi or mixed berries
  • Water for preferred thickness

Peel and slice your beetroot and put in pot of hot water. Cook them till they’re tender, it usually takes 2 hours. Allow it to cool down.

Mix your other ingredients in a mixer; if you like your smoothies thick, add less water.

3. Detox drinks to-go
If you know your Monday is going to give you the blues and decide to snooze for the last time, prepare this drink the previous night and carry it to work for your constant boost of energy, life and detox.


  • 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of sliced apples
  • Honey for taste
  • 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 lemon (squeezed) 
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (optional)

Caution: Drink with a straw, because as good as ACV is good for your liver, gut and heart- it can be harsh for your teeth. You may be put off by the taste, but it is an ingredient to reckon with visible benefits seen in as soon as 1 week.
